Accommodation
The Calimera Royal Moderna is a superior hotel, with its impressive landscape, buildings and elegant furniture. Its modern and original decoration gives the hotel a distinctive, exclusive air in keeping with the image of an international city. All rooms have air-conditioning, telephone, mini bar, satellite TV, private bathroom with bath, shower, WC and balcony.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of early Continental breakfast (05:00-07:00), breakfast (07:00-10:00, with A la minute corner for eggs & omelettes), lunch (12:30-15:00, with live cooking station & pasta) and dinner (18:30-21:30, with A’ la minute section and pasta station), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant Red Sea. Guests can enjoy late Calimera breakfast (10:00-12:00) at Tuscni restaurant and BBQ lunch at the pool area (12:00-15:30) or the beach bar (12:00-15:00 as snacks). Also at the disposal of the AI guests is the Italian restaurant Toscani for late dinner (snacks buffet) from 22:00-24:00. Afternoon tea time is between 15:00 & 17:00 at the lobby or pool bar (three items per day). Ice cream is on offer from 10:00-18:00 at the beach bar, where soups can be found from 11:00-24:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine (red, white, rose), gin, vodka, rum, whisky, brandy, ouzo, soft drinks (cola, fanta, sprite), mineral water, tea, coffee (espresso, cappuccino, café au lait, Nescafe) and juices are served from 10:00-23:00 at all bars and restaurants within the resort including the fish Market A la Carte restaurant.
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Sport facilities at the hotel include beach & swimming pool games, beach volleyball, aerobics, darts, garden chess, gym at the health club, as well as International or oriental shows organized seven nights a week. The qualified international multi lingual animation team organizes various competitions, shows, games and beach activities. For the children there is a kids club with qualified animators, games & activities on a daily basis and Snobby disco club every evening. Introductory diving around the pool is free once per stay (upon reservation through the diving centre). There is free shuttle service from hotel to the famous Nemaa Bay city centre and back (prior reservation at the front desk). Safety deposit boxes are for the use of guests at the front desk.
Chargeable Extras
Tennis court, water sports, massage, sauna, steam bath, billiards, mini golf and fresh juices are available at a charge. At the Italian A la Carte restaurant Toscani, guests can dine from 19:00-22:00 (salad buffet, fish & Italian cuisine) with a deduction of 5 Euro per person from the total bill.

Entry Requirements
On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
